Mississippi Center for Birth and Breastfeeding Equity strives to educate to empowerment ALL families  for healthier birth and breastfeeding outcomes.

ABOUT

At Mississippi Center for Birth and Breastfeeding Equity, we are driven by a single goal:  to do our part in making the world a better place for all. We feel that's best done by focusing on our present (youth and new parents), our future, and remembering and including our elders.  We serve the state of Mississippi with community comprehensive sexual education for teens, Free education for expectant parents, free and affordable doula services, and trainings for doulas and community members who want to be involved with our mission.

ACTIVITIES

Mississippi Center for Birth and Breastfeeding Equity is in the business of changing and shaping lives. The work we do at our Non-Profit Organization is aimed at providing a holistic approach to solving some of our society’s biggest challenges. We make sure our partners are empowered by creating opportunities for individuals and communities.

COMMUNITY BABY SHOWERS

Our showers are an opportunity for expectant and new families to gather  and celebrate their new babies!  We shower guests with love, education, and  gifts for baby and mom with support from the community.  Contact us today about bringing a shower to your area.

DREAM BIG DIVAS

We strive to ensure teens, specifically girls, are equipped with education to make the best decisions now and throughout their lives.  Our summer camp provides the opportunity for girls to gather with that common goal in mind.

DOULA TRAINING

 As the premiere doula training in the state of Mississippi, we strive to combat infant and maternal mortality by training and supporting community women to support community women.  We intentionally make our doula trainings engaging, informative, affordable and accessible.

Education Is one of the pillars of the work we do at the MS Center for Birth and Breastfeeding Equity.  We provide group classes to any expectant parent free or for very little cost in childbirth preparation, breastfeeding, car seat safety, preparing for baby, and so much more!
